For us, this track had one of those ‘magic moments’ you often hear bands speak about in documentaries! We’d found a wonderful acoustic guitar loop, improvised by our Parisian friend (who often performs with us) Alejandro de Valera and we put it with a flute sample we’d also recorded in France with Mathieu Sérot a few years earlier and it sounded like the pair were playing together! It took a further two years till we added vocals written and sung by the amazing Tokyo based American musician rapper, poet and singer Marcellus Nearly! This is one of our favourite tracks from the project.
