Born in India and blinded as a small child, Baluji Shrivastav is now simply one of the best sitar players in the world.  He was awarded an OBE by The Queen in 2017 in recognition of his music foundation, and recording with him improvising at home in London was just pure joy!  Sampling the session, we immediately picked out a few choice cuts and spliced them together to create the main melody.  The track also features samples from improvised recordings of French singer Aurélie ‘Lilly’ Jung, drummer Julien Boinot and tablas from the virtuoso player Kuljit Bhamra MBE.
