Back on stage performing!

As pandemic restrictions ease in the UK and more live events begin to happen again, it felt fantastic to be back on the road for our first gig of 2022, having already had a gig cancelled in early January in France!  We headed to Ipswich, in the east of the UK, to perform at The New Wolsey Theatre, who – as part of their opening season – hosted a few nights of music performances, including a jazz night from the Ronnie Scott‘s All Stars and from ourselves with Orchestra of Samples.

“Amazingly wonderful and exceptionally clever. There was so much depth to each track…   The amount of time and effort to put this all together is unfathomable”

Joining on stage was Alejandro de Valera on one of his many amazing fretless guitars, and both percussionist Michael ‘Fordey’ Forde and clarinetist František Holčík, both who recently recorded sessions with us for sampling in future tracks.

Local press included interviews with BBC Radio Suffolk and ‘what’s on’ style Grapevine Magazine – who also gave us a glowing review, saying “Amazingly wonderful and exceptionally clever. There was so much depth to each track…   The amount of time and effort to put this all together is unfathomable“.

Big thanks to the programming team and fantastic technicians, it really is a great venue.
