European Humanities Conference

We're taking part in the artistic cultural programme, completing their cycle of conferences around the themes of heritage, mobility, diversity, humanities in society, the pandemic and more. The conference is co-organized by UNESCO's Social and Human Sciences Programme, the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH) and the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

The European Humanities Conference takes place May 5th – 7th. A development of the 2017 World Humanities Conference, the 2021 edition will focus on societal concerns, from cultural identities and heritage to a world in transition. Supported by UNESCO-MOST, amongst others, the Humanities, Arts & Society project have curated the artistic programme with Portugal’s Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.

On the evening of May 6th, join us for a streamed event with Addictive TV from 6:40pm (UK time), including a concert of Orchestra of Samples and live Q&A with all programmed artists.
